I bought this piece many moons on top of a mountain in West Virginia. I was passing through on the way to NC. By myself so no one to complain when I stopped at every fabric store. This one got all of me, they were closing & everything was dirt cheap. I believe they finagled more than a hundred bucks outta me! I thought I would use it as the back of a quilt. Now, It's been promoted to the front!

I'm sure you gentle ladies will turn it into a beauty!

Glad you are in, GramE. Love your angel fabric!

Love the sewing fabrics, too, Marietta.

I love this group of fabrics, Marietta. Even if you don't pick it, I'd leave it out just to look at!

I think their hair is wound a bit too tight. Might be the source of their distressed look, Billi.

Maybe we all should have a road trip to Marietta's house to help her sort thru her stash. I am thinking it is really a Quilt Store.
GramE - you had me worried - who can quit after only two swaps??? I cherish your blocks and your sense of humor. Welcome back - you aren't a newbie anymore!!

GramE I love the angel fabric and all the different hair. If it's ok with you, I see some hand embroidery on this square.
    Marietta I have stash envy.

This is a silly question but what size ziplock bags do you buy to put the fabric in? Can I use squares the Ispy swap fabrics came in?

GramE hurray I am so glad you feel up to joining. It wouldn't be the same without you. Love your fabric.

marietta lots of great fabrics to choose between

MJP, Janice prefers you don't use the bags with the plastic handle zipper closers on them ( they are to bulky ). Remember your 12.5" block will come back in your Baggie so if you send a sandwich Baggie your block will come back folded up multiple times in that Baggie.

mjp - I have reused the same Ziploc sandwich bags for many a boom. I put my blog name on a sticker and put it on the bag. Make sure you get as much air out of bag to make it easier to fit them all in one gallon zip lock bag. Well marked simplicity really helps out our dearest hostess. ....
Janice - can you give us ideas to make it easier for you - stickers, large print, ??
