I'm still undecided about which fabric. I think I am going to work on a fairy quilt so something pastelly is calling out to me. I may have a few different pastel fabrics to send out.... Maybe.... lol. I have made a number of dresden fairy wheels.... I am thinking that the creativity of this group might be perfect to set my fairy wheels in motion.

Here are my fairy wheels and one of the fabrics I will be sending. Let your imagination be your inspiration. If the blocks are too busy for the fairy wheels (alternating sampler blocks with fairy wheel block is what I'm thinking right now), then I will use your blocks in a different quilt. I have no color requests -- pastels seem appropriate for teaming up with fairy wheels but are not critical. I do not need the fabric back. I will put a note in my baggie with the fabric so you don't have to worry about remembering this. I just want to plant a fairy quilt seed into your head for now as I expect 2017 to be a magical year.

My 2017 wish for everyone is that your machine(s) always run perfectly, your bobbin only runs out at the end of your seam, your rotary cutter and scissors remain ever sharp and you always can dig out of your stash that perfect fabric for your project! Oh, health and happiness is always good too! Here's to the Boomers!

My 2017 wish for everyone is that your machine(s) always run perfectly, your bobbin only runs out at the end of your seam, your rotary cutter and scissors remain ever sharp and you always can dig out of your stash that perfect fabric for your project! Oh, health and happiness is always good too! Here's to the Boomers!

At this point, you all should be prepping your fabric. Don't forget to wash, press, REMOVE SELVAGES and then cut into pieces 11x18 or as close as that as you can reasonably get. By Tuesday, I'll send everyone an email with my address and some additional information about the swap. As soon as you get that, you can start shipping your F8s to me.
