Marija you are welcome..I hope everyone knows that if I dont thank them its not because I dont love the blocks but I forget who I thank and who I dont..so THANKS to all of you now...and Ill thank you again when I get the blocks and get to drool over them!! Bootsy good luck with PP...I have tried several times to learn it but to me it wastes fabric more so than regular piecing and takes longer to piece. I admit pp is wonderful when finished and maybe someday Ill get the hang of it but too impatient yet! GOOD LUCK

Love the owls, thank you for showing us some of the intermediate steps.
The holly is great too. Glad there is another appliqué aficionado in the group.
Sewbizgirl I really like the quilt, especially the layout. I'm stuck on my Day of the dead quilt. My original thoughts didn't work at all. This turns my thoughts to a different path.

So sorry to hear that Nana..prayers for his fast healing! Ive made some bonus blocks. some of the F8s I just didnt have enough for even a center block...Im waiting for Marshall Dry goods and Connecting threads to send me some fabric I ordered so I can finish my purple Carpenter Star quilt. Nana, I just love that block and the way the pattern comes together! These are for NanaKathy, Biblestone, Marcialee (its light blue in center, not white) Cheesehead, Klaws, Libster, Jayne W. I think I have 8 more cut out then will mail them. Be safe everyone!
