Klaws, stay safe. So many disasters all at once it is heartbreaking.
Gary and I had been casually talking about making go bags for ourselves for a while now, this round has got our attention. Last week he came home w/ a vaccum sealer and our go bags are nearly finished.

Karen, glad you are going to a hotel...my brother was in Cape Coral and determined to stay there until the hurricane turned towards the West part of the state. I just got a call from him and they decided to leave this morning and drove across the state to the East of Orlando to stay with friends. Im releived but still worried because they will get some of the storm...Prayers for EVERYONE in the way of this storm...Feel so sorry for the people that cant get out, dont have the means to leave, the nursing home patients...so sad...

I pray that everyone in this monster's path has a safe place to wait it out. Hunker down and hold on. Even though it's turned more to the west, we're on the bad side of the eye so we're still going to get the bad winds, torrential rains and tornados. Tomorrow and Tuesday is going to be our rough time. I'm holeing up with my daughter.
