The Tshirt quilt is a college graduation gift, and the other one is a wedding present for a former student/student teacher. I'm pleased with both!

Those are 2 lovely quilts. I am partial to number 2.

I mailed out Fat 8s today. They will arrive on Thursday. Here is a picture of my fabrics. I included 3 colors to match. You can use 1, 2, or 3 or any combination on your block.

Love your fabrics, Marlena and annt! Lots of color to play with. We are a really colorful bunch this time around. I sent an assortment of florals and asked for COLOR, as well.

I hope you Autumnals are also lurking over on Summer. I posted a little children's quilt I finished today.

Marlena and Aunt love both of your fabrics. I agree we are going to have so much fun with all these fun fabrics.

Went to quilt guild tonight and we had an awesome guest speaker, talk about creative. Kassandra she even uses a soldering iron on some of her fabric. Took lots of pictures, she loves to teach groups of 3 or 4 right out of her home. Thought oh no, you don't need any more projects

She calls it Altering Lutrador, a new use for a soldering iron and a lovely layering system. Also teaches color discharge, discharge color from fabric using chlorine and discharge paste, gelatin printing, brayer painting and lots more. Will try and post a few tomorrow. They were fascinating and she quilted the majority herself using her walking foot in simple lines, curves and spials
