Kassandra you quilt turned out beautiful, love love your lattice.

one boom I had a terrible time and was so discouraged wanted to throw in the towel. Realized the sizing problem was because I hadn't measured the sections as I went.

I did not even think about putting my in with the blocks as I took pictures and posted. I was definitely a culprit in the Summer group. I will make sure and put my name in the summer group.

Please, if you receive a block from me that is wrong in any way, please let me know so I can correct the issues.

That quilt is beautiful Kass, front and back! I just love your sashings. The points on the frames around each block add so much cool detail. Love it!

I was really hoping to get all 4 borders finished today so I would only have the binding left, but so far I just got the one border finished, I might get a second one done tonight, we'll see.

Hav, and everyone else...there were several "no name culprits". Lol. All pix are posted so anyone wishing to look up those blocks with missing names can probably locate them in the gallery. If not, a little detective work on your part is in order.

As for block problems, I like everyone to measure and check out their OWN blocks before mailing them to me, keeping in mind size, seams, stitch length and general neatness. Nobody will need to go back and redo anything at this point. Once they're distributed, that's it, we all move on. If I find anything I consider significant (construction-wise) across more than a block or two, I'll email that person, not post online.

Just so you know, So far, the comments have been quite positive. From those who wrote to me with concerns, it was the size of the fabric they received right at the start that was mentioned the most. F8s are the rule but it was ignored frequently. I'm still perplexed over that. The second most frequent comment was off-sized blocks but I've already spoken to that earlier.

Summer is gone and we're finishing up Autumn. As you all sew your last blocks, please take the time and effort to measure and aim for the best construction you can manage. I have no qualms about your creativity. Boomers have it in spades. .

Janice, I mailed my blocks today. I sent an email to you with the tracking number. I hope all of mine are okay. I made sure to measure each one.

I can't believe P.B. (pre boom) I didn't own 12.5 and 6.5 square up rulers. A.B (ante boom) I don't think I could sew w/o them!!!! lol

Kass that is absolutely beautiful! The colors on the front and on the back are really bright! Good job... I agree about the 12 1/2 and on down rulers. Not sure what I did without them and thank God for Joanns 50% off coupons so I could buy from 2 1/2" on up. I have laid each block on top of the 12 1/2 ruler before taking a picture and sending them on. I sure hope they suit you all...I cringe when I remember my first swap where we had to send to each boom member seperately . that was not fun!! Im sure glad Janice does the swaps for us now!!
