So is it going to be his quilt then? My hubby likes to wear Hawaiian print shirts too.

I just put the last stitch in Summer Citrus / Citrus Nights. I can't take a picture b/c it is raining outside.

Travelinggramma, are you giving up traveling? Or just staying home over the winter. It is nice to have more room to sew in!

Terri... cute hubby! Love the Hawaiian shirts pattern too. That's going to be a great quilt! If you want some Hawaiian scraps, let me know. I'm sure I can find some.

Kassandra yes quilt will get for him. Wish the background was a different color then white. Maybe I will swap it out once I get a look at the fabrics for the Hawaiian shirts. He has one shirt that I detest on him. If I need more Hawaiian print you know what I will be grabbing. He doesn't know I bought this.

sewbiz - my mom will be spending the winter with us, and this a two bed, two bath home. Easier for her. Have to clue where the Lord will lead us in 2018. But for now, I will spread out!
Terri - I agree- white is a little boring for a Hawaii quilt. Maybe a batik?

JayneW, thanks for my heart block. It is adorable.

Here is next to last block. It is for Marija and I have no idea what the name of it is.

Pretty block for marija, Bibliostone.

I'm going to be out of touch until Monday. I'll return emails and PMs by Tuesday. DH will be here to pick up any packages but you won't get confirmation from me until Tuesday. Until Tuesday then. Over and out.

Sorry everyone for being MIA. Took my first vacation in 20+ years! And my first outside the state of Missouri. We drove to Florida. Even with all the damage from the hurricane.....it was BEAUTIFUL! We took our chainsaws and other wood cutting gear so we could help my fiance's dad clean up the damage at his place. Had everything cleaned up in three days and played the rest of the time. I love the climate! No stuffy nose the whole time but you can bet that the minute we got home, my sinuses started acting up. Geez!

Anyway, I'm back at it. Got two blocks left to complete. Here is the one for NanaKathy55...

Pretty blocks, ladies! Love that we still have some to see.

I am one seam away from finishing my boom-type quilt from my local group. I set the blocks on point so I could make it a little bigger with the big setting triangles. It's worked well and is a big cozy quilt for me! After that one last seam, I only have binding to put on, and then it's a done deal. I LOVE QAYG!!

After that I have those Christmas blocks to make into lap quilts for the hospital this Christmas. More fun QAYG.

Will show when done!
