My blocks have mailed.. may be there Thursday but Friday at the latest. All my blocks are 12.5. I enjoyed making them all and took time to pick exactly what I wanted to make with each material. Hope you enjoy your block.

Hav4boys - WOW!! What an incredible way to wrap up this swap! So creative and so much fun! I LOVE my birdhouse block - THANK YOU!!! Although, I think my favorite might be those fussy cut flip flops in the middle of MJP's block!

Well done!

Thank you JayneW. I really love applique. That block was screaming to me for the flipflops.

Wow! Wonderful blocks. I love mine. The way you cut around the flip flops in the middle looks great. I can't wait to get my blocks. The Day of the Dead block is going into a quilt immediately.

Now that I have two BOOMs under my belt, I cannot wait for the next one. I am going to buy my fabric and have it ready. Now I know what to expect. I love this!

Bibliostone, last 50% off coupon from JoAnns I bought a blade sharpener. Works better than I expected. Has a side to remove burrs & one side to sharpen. I'm thinking my sewing DD & DDinlaw will get one for Christmas if I can get there when the coupon is good and it's Senior day. Usually Wednesday here. I bought blades on Amazon & sharp is not the first word I would choose to describe them. At least now I have 5 extra blades to sharpen with my new toy!

Have4boys I love the kitty you made and those owls are SO cute!! I love applique even though I don't do it myself! I making my grandson a St Louis Cardinals quilt and had his name put on a piece of fabric to put on the quilt. It would have been prettier appliqued instead of just ironed on.
My oldest 13 year old grandson played football this year for the lst time. 7th grade. Didn't get to play much as hes not real "aggressive" but we attended all the games at home they played. They had a banquet last night with the 7th and 8th graders both going. Gave an MVP award to a very deserving kid in both grades but were we shocked when they called Conners name to come up and gave him the sportsman ship award! Said he never talked back, always did what the coaches said, attended every practice and game and they were impressed by his attitude...I cried, his mom cried...it was a shock for sure!! Glad each of the 4 kids are playing some kind of sports!! I was one proud grandma!
