MarlenaB I LOVE my block. it will be worth waiting for! PLEASE dont stress so much..we all make mistakes at some time and its a learning experience for ALL of us...None of us would rush Janice because she does so much for us on her own time..she deserves any time she wants and there is not a one of us who would complain because they might be a day or two late!! I hope you dont let it affect you joining us on the next one!!

Thank you MarlenaB. I love my block.
Janice, you are appreciated more than we all can say. Thank you for all you do!

Forgot to say how cool your blocks are, Marlenab. Love the one you made for Joan!

It's fine with me to wait for the blocks. We've waited this long, what's a few more days? The postal service usually messes us up... you can about count on it! I have a wedding gown to finish, so I wouldn't be able to play with my blocks right away anyway.

Hey Terri, your friend's T shirt quilt is almost done. Just needs binding! So excited to send that to her.

Sewbiz can’t wait to see it.

Janice is the best. Hope she has a relaxing weekend.

While we are waiting, I thought you might like to see a little 'show'.... Our local group met today and everyone brought their Friendship Quilts to show. Here are most of them:

Aren't they BOOMY? We had so much fun making them.

And just because it's so pretty, I wanted to show you this one other quilt one of my friends made to gift to a sick man:

Sewbiz, all of the quilts are absolutely beautiful! The last one with the birds is really special. I'm sure the man will love it. <3

Those are really pretty Sew...the bottom one is awesome. Im sure any man would love it. We have a group from a small town close to the nursing home that bring in a lot of lap quilts for our residents. With winter coming on Im sure they will be used daily! Im meeting my quilter today to give her a couple of quilts I finished then in a couple weeks Ill meet her again to pick them up. Its nice she is willing to meet half way like this. I "think" its because her husband loves to eat at Golden corral and comes with her! LOL Dont have anything started except taking some small scraps and cutting them into 5" blocks.thinking about doing the pattern Diamond Patch to use up some scraps! Need to bring all my Aloe and cactus in before next weekend when we are suppose to get lst frost...Ill bribe the grandkids to come help me! All that takes is icecream usually!

Sewbiz all the quilts are exceptional. I think this is shaming me to put my blocks together.

Yesterday I went through 2 tubs of UFO’s. I knew the majority would never be finished. Took the patterns out and placed the fabric back in my stash. Blocks that were finished will be saved for charity quilts. 2 full tubs went down to 1/2 of one. Wish I could say those were my only tubs of UFO’s
