Terri- Nice job on the QAYG. I'm going to use the blocks from the spring churn dash swap as my attempt. And Joane, what a fabulous souvenir from all the booms!!!

I went on a cookie baking binge, made pumpkin chocolate chip, cranberry and coconut butter cookies. I got smart and sent almost all of them home with my son - don't need them in the house. I have pretty good willpower, until it involves cookies!

We had our Thanksgiving yesterday. My my young grandson and granddaughter were over Fri and we tried to make cookies that looked like Turkeys using candy corn and fudge stripped cookies with mini peanut butter cups. Did NOT turn out very pretty but the kids loved them. Also made mini cheesecakes with cherry topping. I left all of it at my sons house for the same reason the rest of you stated On Thanksgiving I had my 4 year old grandson and I let him make the meatballs for spaghetti...Id rather the kids have to work Thanksgiving instead of Christmas!
Terri, that looks fantastic! I love the side panels design. Ive got my zebra blocks done just trying to get started putting them together.

The last of my kidlets just left for home... my daughter and her husband. It was wonderful that they got to stay on a while after Thanksgiving. I so enjoyed baking with my daughter last night, and shopping with them yesterday. We 'did' the outlet mall and the antique mall. On Friday she came to the gym with me and took my yoga class and then we stayed for a Zumba dance class. So much fun! I really enjoyed the time with all my kids.

Sewbiz, sounds like a day full of fantastic memories with you and your daughter! I have loved every stage of my kids, but I seriously do think it just gets better and better. At 22 and 25, they are pretty darn fun.

Love that block Terriamn. QAYG is awesome.

I spent two days baking. I made peanut brittle, toffee, fudge, raspberry truffles, key lime truffles, mint chocolate bark, snickerdoodles, and lemon shortbread cookies. Most of it will be gifted to my co-workers at school.
