Boom 19 - Autumn

Anyone looking for holiday fabric, one of my locals is selling all 2016 Christmas & winter styles for $3.00 a yard!
https://www.rossvillequilts.com/inde...lt/?q=Holiday+
Looked like lots of great fabric. I certainly must think of a reason to head that way, but there’s always online!

Terri nice quilting on the quilt as you go block.
Good luck with the apartments Klaws.
My mouth is watering from all the baking being done.
GramE I can’t wait to swap with you!
John and I hosted An orphan Thanksgiving this year for all our friends who don’t have family in town. We had two we just met that day. Everyone brought food and it was great. I’ve decided the key to a good thanksgiving is to have friends who are good cooks. Our Mexican friends were intrigued with the whole turkey carving process and helped my husband with that. They brought an Apple tartine (French dessert).
It was 80 degrees and sunny. We ate outside under the wisteria. Our 21 year old was home and I’ve never seen him so happy. He’s had a very rough last six years so this was very gratifying to me.
My other kidlets are coming home December 30 to January 6 from Omaha and San Francisco. My Omaha daughter is bringing boyfriend and his kids. They had so much fun last year they’re making it an annual event. The 8 year old calls San Diego his happy place.

GramE- I just ordered fabric from your link. Guess who's getting a Christmas quilt for their very own next year? ME!! Seriously, Ladies, that fabric is beautiful. I plan to send some of it for Boom 20. So for one group, think Christmas blocks, Ladies.
I'm loving all the baking chatter too. I've made Amish banana nut bread, 3 different bark candies, and ice box fruit cakes in the last couple of days. The ice box fruit cake was a special request from a church friend. This is the first time I've made it. I don't even like the stuff and I've wound up with four of the things! Who knew the ingredients would make that many? Sure hope they freeze well. I'm getting everything done ahead for Christmas that I can.

Sewbiz, go to the second page. I ordered 4 from this page, the poinsettias, the wow, the green on green and the red on red. All of them are $3. I sure hope they have enough to fill my order.
