Has anyone tried QAYG with blocks other than 12"? Ive decided to make my daughter in law a Christmas table runner but I was thinking 16" blocks. I'm sure it would work but thought Id ask if anyones tried it with bigger blocks?
Also does anyone know where I could get a used Bernina foot feed? My sister died and I inherited her Bernina but her son forgot to include the foot feed. I'm not sure what model it is but I did look up a new one and it was $79.00. I'm not sure the machine works so would rather not spend that much until I know for sure. It kind of scares me, I'm so use to my good ole Singer!

Sad news here, mom’s going down hill fast, took a fall and is super weak. She is being moved into nursing home this afternoon. I will be heading up in the morning.
Joan I see no reason why you couldn’t do QAUG with larger blocks

My house smells soooooo good right now! I'm baking Amish Christmas Stollen Bread. I added lemon extract, and it smells yummy! I'm through making candy and this will wind up the cakes and breads. Now, I can start on the cookies. I'm going to get it all done before Christmas , I am determined. My nephews and great-nieces are getting baskets filled with home canned apple butter, pumpkin butter, jellies (grape, blackberry and apple), candies, cookies and cakes along with kitchen towel sets this year. Since my only sister has passed, they are mine now. I can see the end in sight hopefully. Everybody else caught up with their baking?

Terri, so sorry about your mother. Prayers for her and you and your sister! Sounds like a nursing home is the safest place for her now.
Joan, you could absolutely QAYG 16" blocks. Or any size... I put together my Row by Row quilt with QAYG last summer, and those pieces were about 9"x 36". Came out great.
Gee Libby, I had no idea you were such an avid baker! If I did that I'd eat half of it and be ginormous! Some lucky people will get your goodies.
