Marcialee, these blocks just sing! As far as matching, you nailed them all three. Well done.

Joan, I'm mailing both mine together this morning. She would prefer a Monday-Thursday delivery. Check with her before you mail.

Beautiful blocks, Marcialee. I love mine! I have a special fondness for churn dashes.... Thank you!

I am going to try to mail my blocks in today, if I can get the right change together!

Kass, how's your spider bite doing? Don't hesitate to go for some meds if you need them.

The spider bite is much better. I have been medicating, but at home. I had some steroids (prednisone) left over from surgery I took it for a few days, and loaded up on benadryl and albuterol for a few days. The swelling and inflammation are much better, the hard knot is better, and my breathing is better. Now I'm waiting to see if any of it start to necrose. Nothing can be done to stop that process if it happens, so now it is just a waiting game to see how bad it will get. If it wasn't a brown recluse (best case scenario) and it was all a histamine reaction to some other insect my leg will continue to improve. If it was a brown recluse then it will all depend on how much venom I got. I am continuing to keep a steroidal cream on it though.

Thinking of you Kass. We have black widows and brown recluse spiders that hang around the patio furniture. You've incentivized me to check for them more often.

Marcialee's block is next up, I am sizing the fabric stiffly b/c I'm making it into stripes. I got out the crayons for this one to make sure of the color placement on paper before starting on her fabric. I was really tempted to so some fussy cutting on those flags, but there were only a few that I could get a clean cut from (w/o pieces of other flags ruining the look) So I've been staring at the fabric for a couple of days until inspiration struck. I really like how the colored paper turned out so now on to the fabric.
