Just an fyi, I'm closing out the earlier Boom pages in the Gallery. Anyone wanting to take a last look, today's your day as I'll close them down tomorrow. Will probably only keep Boom 18 and possibly 17. Also, the pages may go on and offline while I work on it so don't be concerned.

I'm loading your fabric choices in the gallery and I'm finding large pix files. I didn't think to mention it before but Please edit your photos to 200kb or smaller. We will get Very picture heavy once you all start posting pix of your blocks and the large file size can impair loading pages. If you don't yet know how to do it, now's the time to learn! One of the simplest ways to shrink file size is to crop out all the background you don't need. Also, those of you who routinely use your iPhone for pix can email them to yourself and when it gives you the option of what size email to send, use a smaller option. Other than that, you'll need to learn your photo editing software. In the past, I've had some people send me pix and I've shrunk and posted their pix but this round, I won't have the time so if you don't know how, please learn. Start with your favorite search engine. Your very grateful host thanks you!

I like the first one. More fun but I like modern. I'm in the three month group.
You should get what you like. It's going to be your quilt

Marlenab, no worries! You couldn't have known because I didn't mention it. I don't put it in the sign-up post as It's already a novella. There are just too many little things so I tackle them as they come up.

Welcome, Marlenab, to the swap. I like the first fabric, more colors to work with. But...it's what you like best that should be your choice. We will work with whatever you choose.

"I need some feedback from the group. Went fabric shopping yesterday. It's a tough job but somebody's got it do it. Anyway...found two fabrics that really called out to me. Actually, they all called out but these two hollered the loudest. Now I'm having a hard time picking the one I want for this swap. Please help me pick."

Marlenab, both are wonderful. It would be hard for me to choose one!

Marlena! Love both your fabrics with birds!

    Here's my feedback on them:
The first is more scattered so will be easier to make blocks from.
The second will lean more towards fussy cutting, as there are little centralized "pictures" that you wouldn't want to cut through. Both can be worked with but that is just what I see. You should definitely buy the one you love the most! We'll make pretty blocks with either one.

All good, Fearless Leader! We sure appreciate your extra work of maintaining that photo site for us. It's such a great reference!

Update on the epidural yesterday: No Back Pain today! Both sides were done this time (I have pain on both sides) and I'm already feeling great. They told me to take it easy and don't drive for 24 hours. Well, with all those steroids I couldn't sleep last night until about 4:30am. So I was up doing laundry, hand sewing a binding and label, giving myself a haircut and cleaning half the house! LOL. They tell you not to "do any work" and then pump you full of steroids. Ha.
