Welcome to the 2 month group, MonaG and A2P! We're going to have fun. Janice I'd still love to double up if that works out.

I took my quilt entries in today, and the lady I spoke with asked me if I had another quilt, so I could enter the maximum of 3.... She said they didn't have enough quilts! So guess what is most likely going into this show? A Boom quilt! My first one is awesome (from Boom 17), or maybe the Stormtrooper quilt that is going to be given to my SIL for his Oct. birthday. Anyway, y'all's work is about to be "shown". The only thing I worry about is that I machine sewed those bindings on and I'm not inclined to change them. Do judges look upon machine sewn bindings any more favorably than they used to?

To all my fellow boomers - Enjoy your summer and blocks. I am so swamped with grandchildren and mom and everything else I can't even think. I really would love to complete ONE thing this summer - but not sure that will even happen! Oh well small steps.
I will attempt to keep up with you - and am loving some of those fabrics and thinking of block patterns for them! you all helped me through my post concussion issues, and didn't mention some of those wacky blocks I ended up making! Hopefully I will be able to play with you all again in the fall.

Good morning, Boomers! My work has begun and here's the first step this morning. Your groups are listed below. The two month group is named Summer and the three month group is named Autumn.



Summer has 13 members, 9 of whom wish to double up. Those who are Not doubling up will send me 12 F8s and will have 12 blocks made for them. Those who Are doubling up will send me 19 F8s and will have 19 blocks made for them. For those who are paying attention, we have exceeded the max number of people in a group since the doublers are counted twice. There will be a few extra F8s with no where to go - except into my sewing room so I'll be "forced" (read that as Thrilled) to make a few blocks for you. Yay!

Autumn has 20 members and you will send me 19 F8s and you will receive 19 blocks back.

I'm working on the Summer and Autumn dedicated threads this morning and then I'm going to send out an email to everyone later today with my contact info, rules, shipping into, etc. (Please Do Not ship prior to Monday, July 3.) All F8s are due to me by Tuesday, July 18. In the event they all arrive early, I will ship them out to you early.

Post office is Open on July 3 with regular hours. You need not mail that day, just not before. I'm likely going to be out of town and don't want anything arriving until after the holiday.
