Beautiful quilt blocks, everyone. Such creativity and attention to detail! Love all the blocks, especially mine. Thanks, sewbizgirl and joanelizbay - those will be great in my planned quilt. And yes, the paint samples I sent were suggestions, not requirements. If you have something in stash that fits the fabric, feel free to use it.

Everyone, have you had issues with the Patchwork Squares patterns finishing at the required 12.5 inch size? The three test blocks I made finished at 12 and a quarter inch, and squared up at 12 inches. That did not have the extra half inch needed for connecting seams. Is it just me and the patterns I picked or what? I checked the seams; they are not scant quarters, but not over either.

All2 I picked alot of patterns to use last boom from Patchwork Square and made test blocks. The only two I found that came out required size (and hopefully they were) was the one I made for Molly, Quatrefois and Libsters, Frolic. And now looking over my notes on the patterns I printed I adjusted the measurements for cutting the pieces on Libsters, well cuz me and 7/8 and 5/8 aren't friends yet. lol

Ok now I have to know..Libster did the block I made for you come out to 12.5???

I thought the blocks I made from there came out easier and more to size than Quilters Cache does, of couse I only made the easier ones and made test blocks for the ones I made. I finished 3 more today. One for Terri, One for MonaG and one for Sewbiz... I hope there is not TOO much splash of color in yours Mona. Think Ill just look at patterns and the remaining fabric I received and see if anything jumps out!

It sure did. Everybody's blocks from Boom 18 were pretty well on the mark. I used every last block that I received in the two quilts that I made from them. You can mark that pattern as safe to use.

All Summer blocks are in Gallery through this point except for those with large files. Most have been reduced to 200 kb or smaller. Thank you!
