I think I made you four blocks. Is that a double bonus? Not sure how that happened. I made a list tonight to see if I had everything accounted for & your name is on the list four times! I have SewBiz's contrary seams (I knew that green ribbon was gonna get me) and the Nurse/Bug fabric remaining. Do you think that was intentional, a bug in a nurse disguise? Mmmmm. I need plum. I got no plum.

Beautiful Shoo Fly, GramE! Or is it a Churn Dash? That's a lot of hand stitching for one day! Isn't it satisfying to do something beautiful the old fashioned way? That's why I love hand embroidery, and hand quilting (although I'm not that great at it!). Also knitting and crochet... Lo Tech. And a connection to the past.

Ok, here are my Christmas blocks du jour. Hope we don't confuse Janice with these. Janice, these are not for the gallery, LOL!

This one is actually a cutting error. The silvers should have been on the outside and the colors opposite each other in the center star. Oh well...

This is just a star around a gingerbread house center panel.

Delaware Crosspatch (my new favorite block!).

I took it to be a joke, as we call viruses "bugs" and nurses fight bugs.... Very inventive!

Very nice. I haven't caught the Christmas Spirit yet.

Oh, it's a Love Knot.

Love the Christmas blocks. They'll make a fun quilt to keep warm under when it gets cold out.

This is for Terri, but wouldn't have happened without SewBiz's transfer of fabric so I'd have enough for the frame. Thank you Bonnie. And it still needs a good stiff ironing.

Now to deal with those seams that don't match. Might have figured out the cause.

Thank you, Janice. I wish I had a bolt of that floral fabric! Such rich colors.

Here's my block for NanaKathy55 for our side swap. It really needs a better pressing.

I hope you'll like it, NK. The fabric is a light mottled cream, the reverse of a darker one that just looked a bit too dark.
