The pattern is from Missouri Star Quilt.. Thanks.
A curved log cabin is on my wish list too! They are so pretty and you can use your scraps. The curve is made by using 2.5" wide strips on one side, and usually neutral or white 1.5" strips on the opposite side. That creates the curve. Missouri Star is probably the only place you can buy 1.5" wide rolls of solid strips, but you can just cut them from yardage. I wouldn't buy the wider strips and cut them down, because you'd have so much waste, and the precuts cost more than yardage, too.

Very pretty blocks, Joan and MonaG!
Also Janice... love that block for bibliostone!

Thanks Sew..Ill check on Mo Star and see if I can find the 1 1/2 strips . I subscribe to their Block magazine. It was in Vol 1 issue 3 and its absolutely beautiful. I think its just the way shes turned the log cabins that make it "curved". Ive seen it several ways. Nice balloon center Janice! So far the 3 boys arent sick..I doubt if Hailee goes to school tomorrow if she still has a fever! Its bad everywhere! I pray the nursing home doesnt have it!

These are my two for this afternoon. And....Ta-da! I finally learned how to add the names to the blocks. For me that's a major accomplishment. So.... here we go.

Janice thank you for shrinking my pics and adding them to the gallery. I am shrinking all pics down to 20% now so it shouldn’t happen again. Sorry for the extra trouble!

Cheese, no head hanging in shame around here or I'll have to join you. I will tell you that this round so far has seen me mis-cut several blocks and have to completely rework two of them. Bibliostone's was the latest. I planned a totally different block and then bam, total change in direction. I blame it on the fabric. It had it in for me.

It must be because of full moon!! I had to take one apart 3 different times before it finally came together! I quit because of the trouble with the one! Have 3 cut out ready to sew..Granddaughter didn't go to school..still has a slight fever but my son said he thinks shes feeling better..she hates missing school!
