I went to Hobby Lobby today and found some more of my Love/Faith fabric and got 2 yards just in case I need it..Went to see the movie Hostiles also but it was a disappointment..very slow and dul. Decided we should have seen something else ..it sounded good anyway..

Joan, thanks for your opinion of Hostiles. I thought about seeing it because I love Christian Bale and it also has that cool Indian actor. But if it’s dull I won’t bother. The one I really want to see is Phantom Thread. About a male dress designer designer in 1950 in London! Oh yes! A friend saw it and told me I would like it.

Looks like I'm caught up with your pix. Enjoy the gallery. It's looking better all the time.

Those are swell blocks, Joan. Yes, we've had COC requested, but not so much WOW. I only had one piece that was cream. I hope it's what people wanted when they asked for COC.

I'm done with my Hummingbirds, but here is one that I made for myself, to test out a pattern. I had scraps so I still don't know if this can be made with a F8 or would need a little more....

This is my Khanam's Surprise, from one of the 100 blocks magazines.

Look what my contrast is... light blue finches, like my orange finches for the Quail group! It matched perfectly.
