I don’t know. It’s very similar to a quatrefoil, only the corners have 2 hsts. I’ve done it many times and really don’t recall ever seeing the name. I’m so pleased you like it. I loved your fabric. [QUOTE=Bluelady;8001457]

Hav4boys, here’s a QC Variable Star for you. I chose this one simply because those hsts remind me of butterflies.

I ran right down to the end of your fabric and did piece it in two locations to make the longer crosspieces. One is almost invisible, the second is less so. It won’t affect the block at all and should hardly be noticeable once quilted. I really enjoyed making this one for you. And the red matches the very darkest of the red on the butterflies. I hope you’ll be pleased.

I love the butterfly block, Janice. That fabric you paired it with is beautiful.

Love my block, Mona! Thank you! The green you used with it is perfect.

Very nice block with Bootsy's fabric, too.

Bluelady welcome back. Sure glad you went to Alaska and I went to the tropics.

Never heard of dark chocolate covered gummies, they sound fantastic

I love all the pretty new blue nail polish colors, then I noticed my toes even matched the blue in my sandals
