My Boom 18 blocks are put into this setting with Kaffe Fassett. I abandoned another UFO project, and combined what was done into this one and it is now finished. Daughter quilted it and her backing fabric is just as wild. Glad I have the Fons and Porter triangle ruler. That helped out immensely in getting my setting triangles correct.

QuilterMomma, That's quite a departure from the CW Hummingbird blocks! :-) It reminds me of the orange quilt I made. I thought mine was bright until I've taken a look at yours. Makes mine seem tame now. lol You've certainly got a lot to look at in that one. :-) Thanks for sharing.

It fits my daughter for sure. Plus, in looking at quilts, Kaffe Fasset quilts are wild with color. I may just take all the rest of the strips I have and make a fast jelly roll, quilt it, and call it done and get them out of the stash. I am not going down that road again.

I looked at the swap, and just have too much going on right now. No doubt you will be a great hostess and cheerleader!

    Thanks Annie!

QM, I hear you about the Kaffe fabrics. You kind of can't mix them with other things much. I have a bunch left over from a kit and also some remnants I picked up and I'm going to cut them into 5" charms and just make a simple quilt by sewing them all together. Any that end up with less than 5" left over can be made into the 9 patches for the swap.

Well... I have news! The last two lap quilts from my Boom 19 blocks are done! That makes 5 that have or will be donated, to make someone feel comforted and remembered. I hope you all enjoy seeing your beautiful work in it's final product.

Janice, could you add these to the 'completed quilts' album, please? Both are Boom 19.
