We're almost done over on Hummingbird so coming here and seeing a dozen or so blocks I last checked makes me smile in a big way! Beautiful blocks Maudeflanagan, Annt59, TravelingGramma and Mollymunchkin. And your quilt, TG, is wonderful.

Here are my latest blocks, my life slows down significantly this week (a night class I teach is ending) so I'm hopeful for some really good sewing time the next couple weeks.

First is for D. Henson This is one of my favorite patters, its called Oblique from the 1000 blocks book

Next up are for Joanelizbay and NanaKathy, forget the pattern but also from the 1000 blocks

    And finally is Mollymunchkins block

Thanks Molly and Jayne.. I love both blocks!! That beer bottle block for Terry is so cute..it does look like beer bottles!
Just got stopped by a local police..said I was speeding..42 in a 30 right where the speed limit changed from 30 to 40.. I had license and ins ready, smiled and said "how fast was I going"...no ticket just a "watch your speed"...my son is laughing so hard he cant breathe!! LOL why do kids always have to be around when you make a mistake!! LOL

LOL joanelizbay, that is the truth. At least he saw you handle it with respect and humbleness. Love those warnings. It is in a touchy area so they really can't "Officially" issue a ticket because it can be fought in court. Yep, done that. My favorite was when I borrowed the boss' car to go to a funeral in Montana and I was coming down a hill with speed control on set at 79, but with the hill I was going 82 and he gave me a ticket, speed limit 75. I was not happy about that one. I had the cruise control on. The only other weird ticket I ever got was in Nebraska at 11:00 at night. Did you know that the roads have different speed limits, north and south 60 and east and west was 65 where I was driving? Boy, was I ever upset. I was going 67 is all. In 45 years of driving I have only received three tickets. I can live with that.

That is what's known as a speed trap. When their revenues need a boost, they camp right where those speed limits change and zap the unsuspecting. Great that you only got a warning.
