Well I’m finishing with a whimper. In the interest of getting my blocks in on time I made a simple block for have4boys. Of course after I made it I realized it wasn’t on point, so here I am reconstructing it at midnight. I had a beautiful drawing of a little girl catching butterflies in a net, a peacock block [ATTACH=CONFIG]592136[/ATTACH] and a few others tha[ATTACH=CONFIG]592137[/ATTACH]t I didn’t have time for.
For Kassaundra I did another flower block.
I'm headed back east to spend 3 or 4 days each in NY, MD, and Fla where I will be doing taxes for various relatives. And No I’m not getting paid. I am staying at an Airbnb with an ‘award winning’ quilter in FL
Taxes and booming didn’t work well this year. I had such a challenging time with this boom, I guess it’s time to take a break. So I’ll be sitting out the next boom.

Well, my cat material came but I have scratched that for my next BOOM and am going to make a search and rescue dog quilt for my sister. She trains dog for search and rescue and has her dog Louise. She is an amazing dog. This is the material:[ATTACH=CONFIG]592123[/ATTACH]

Hav4boys, nice picture of your sister and her dog! My son was a K-9 police officer. His partner was Blade, a rottwieller. Blade served for 9 years. He was a much loved dog by all of us.

Sorry, I didn't see this until just now. I'm saddened to hear this boom was so rough on you but your blocks are terrific! No worries on that score.

Darker blue. They're stacked vertically on my screen so I believe it's the top one, the darker.
