Good grief you ladies have all been so busy. I sewed a couple blocks today, embroidered those 2 blocks last week and that is all I have done since working on my QAUG boom blocks. I am drinking lots of liquids, eating fruit and veggies and just started with essential oils. If not better soon will have to go get it checked out

    Thanks, Annie!

Terri, you should go see the doc if the mess has lingered on that long. It could become bronchitis or pneumonia and become real problematic. A friend of mine was hospitalized for a week recently with bronchitis. A week!

And the flu is really bad this year. One of the main strains mutated after the vaccine was made, and it is hitting hard. There are already more fatalities then in most flu seasons and it is just beginning.

Terri, I have to second what Sewbiz says. My niece is still in ICU. You can't play with this stuff. It's not the ordinary flu. Pneumonia risk is very high with this. Please play it safe and see your doctor. I plan to swap a lot more blocks with you and I don't want this to slow down the fun among us.

I agree with everyone Terri...its not a good flu this year. We have sent 2 of our residents to hospital because its turned into pneumonia quickly. Lots of hand washing and sanitizer for me and Lysol on the phone and door knobs! Kids were out of school Friday due to sickness. Very unusual for them to close school for illness of teachers and students!

I agree Teri. A phone call at least to your doctor.. out doctors have asked for everyone to call if they get sick. They are triaging over the phone and deciding who needs to come in or head to the hospital. A phone call is pretty easy. Can you tell how well loved you are by this group.

Yikes if nothing else you have scared me into getting this checked out. Will call clinic Monday. Thanks I think

For those of you who went through the miriacle of little Liam’s birth with me he is here in the cities at Children’s Hospial. After 48 hours of testing he has 2 virus’s, the common cold and a virus similar to RSV. Last winter they had to put him into a medically induced coma to combat the RSV. They were in the cities to see a lung specialist when he got sick. Believe it or not he turned 1 on the 8th.

Adding prayers for little Liam and his doctors. I hope they can get everything under control very soon so that he begins to improve and feel better fast. He's a fighter, so I know he's doing his part. I'm looking forward to wishing him a happy second birthday next year.
You can thank us after you call your doctor and begin to feel better too. We want you well!
