Dont know why I never tried a log cabin before. It was pretty easy with the use of pre-cut white strips. I would have hated to cut all those 1 1/2" whites myself! Im thinking this pattern would be pretty in bright colors..might have to try that someday. Wanted a "brown" quilt and this filled the bill! Thanks for the comment!!

Joan, your brown quilt is soooo pretty! You finally turned me on to the color orange and now I think you're turning me on to the brown too. It just looks so warm. What did you back it with?

I used white fabric that looks like marble. Got it at Marshall dry goods. Does anyone wish they had a big hotel or bed and breakfast that they could provide the quilts for??? I just have one bed downstairs and it already has 2 quilts on it with 5 on a quilt rack and 7 or 8 in a cabinet...Im running out of room!
