I have some good news to share. I finally got a contract on my mobile home. Closing is set for May 24th. As soon as those papers are signed and I get my check, I am heading for the bank and on the road to Ohio. I even might already have an apartment. I am so excited!!! Now the hard work starts trying to pack everything for the movers on May 23rd. It looks like I will be able to join in the next boom swap! I should be settled by then. Yippee!!!

Tonight I cut out my swap fabric for the next boom. I did one group of 20.

Your group has finished strong. Thank you for all your hard work. The vast majority of blocks I saw were either right at 12 1/2 inches or a 1/16th either way. Color requests look pretty good. There’s some wonkiness on a few blocks but seams are much better. Neatness was a factor for some people as was cutting on the straight of grain but those things are easily fixed.

Overall, they’re as good a set of blocks as I’ve seen. And our newbies really showed their skills. Way to go everyone. A round of applause for you.
