That quilt is going to be gorgeous, Kass.

I really like Maude's layout too. It makes the blocks go farther and looks great! And now that mjp has mentioned it, I'm going to have to go look at Jayne's Christmas quilt layout, too!

Oops... couldn't find Jayne's Christmas quilt in the Completed Quilts album. Jayne, could you post the picture again?

MJP, I have no doubt you could do the setting I used, its not so much skill as patience! But, I also really like Maude's layout and am also considering using it. I am so sad you are not doing the next boom... I'm just going to have to come out to Encinitas and see you!

Beautiful, Kassaundra. You don’t do anything halfway, do you? Am looking forward to seeing the completed quilt.

If anyone is interested, here are my scribblings for the layout. I normally cut my squares for HSTs at the full inch instead of at 7/8”.

Also, my blocks arrived safely! I haven’t looked through them yet, but they arrived safely. Thanks Janice and all of the boomers!

Wow..these blocks are so much prettier in person than a picture! They amaze me!! Thank you everyone for the beautiful job you did on all of them. All are ironed and just waiting for an idea of how they should go together...hardest part of making a quilt is the sashing to me! Thank you again! Oh, no keys

Wow! This is gorgeous, Jayne. I must have missed it if you posted it before. Are there instructions for that setting anywhere, or did you just wing it? Hats off to you, if you did!

Good morning, Quail! Everyone should have their blocks by now. I hope you’ve counted all 19 of them and had a chance to take a look. As always, I welcome feedback from you about what you’ve found, both positive and not so positive. Constructive criticism is welcome. Don’t hesitate to email me ([email protected]) if you see something you just love, if you notice a boomer’s improvement on construction, problems with color requests or serious size issues. Most of the issues can be worked out so let me know. Also, if you are finding it necessary to rework blocks because construction was a little weak, let me know. From my point of view, I consider this round to be a success but please give me your opinions. Yours are the ones that count.

I’d like to take this opportunity to thank everyone who participated in the boom swap. As always, you’re a fine group of swappers and I’m pleased to have put the swap together for you - us - as it was one of the easiest ones of the 10 I’ve run. I love it when you all do your part and things go smoothly. Thank you!
