Wow, I snuck away to Vegas for the weekend and all of you have been incredibly busy! All the blocks are stunning and so much creativeness. Unfortunately, I have a couple projects I have to finish before I get started on my boom blocks. The good news is after all of you are long done with your blocks I'll still be posting pictures!

Thanks, Terri... I didn't realize anyone in H'bird got this fabric. I can ask over there too, if you don't find enough. Four 3.5" squares would take a pretty good sized piece, so I may need to procure scraps from several of you!

LJD, I finished your block, once I started I was so excited to see how it was going to turn out I just kept going. I have to say it is my favorite so far of the ones I have made. (shhh don't tell the other blocks though) It turned out exactly as I visioned it in my head

My vision was color only in the center w/ the "frame" colors getting darker as they radiated out.

Wow, lots of progress today. Kass; Love the block for Tma, very creative! My favorite also, is the one you made for LJD. That looks awesome.

Sewbiz: gosh, your blocks are also fantastic. I love them all!! The Mississippi Queen is very cool. I’ll be working on Maude’s and Nanakathy’s tomorrow. Your brown and orange look great with maude’s fabric.

Kass, the block for LJD is amazing... looks like lace around the edges! Your blocks always stand out in a crowd, that’s for sure!

I came here to say the same thing. As I scrolled through Sewbiz's post I was like, "Ooh, wow, nice!" Then when I got to mine, my eyes got a little bigger and my jaw was on the floor. Thank you Sewbiz, I love it!
