I really worked on QuiltAddict's fabric. Went through my patterns, measuring and calculating and finally decided on a pineapple. I did notice afterwards that the B was cut off

Colorful and great block, when the block is sewn to the next one that A will be cut off to, so no worries. lol

Today at work is brutal, this it is going to be a loooong night. I do think I have found an idea for the star wars fabric. I have quite a bit of pattern making first though.

What a great pineapple block, TG! You captured all the colors in the bras, too. You made something really special. I'm still scratching my head about what to do with that fabric....

I made a double pinwheel for Annt59. I had made a practice block and it turned out pretty good, but it wasn’t a perfect 12.5”. So I decided to make Annt59 a tad bit bigger and then trim down to 12.5”. Well, I did get the perfect size, but in trimming I noticed that the yellow triangles points will get cut off when sewn in the quilt. Bummer. So, if I have enough material, I will try and make a different block. For now, this is it.

TravelingGma - that’s a nice colorful block for QuiltAddict. I sure like that pattern.

That's a pretty block, D.... Can you pick out the blue triangles and start over with the other colors? If you squared up each of those quarter sections to 6.5", I think you would have been fine. The trouble with making bigger and then trimming is losing points at the outer edges. In that case it may be better to take in the seams than to trim. Been there, done that....
