I finished a block for Mariposa today. When I first saw your fabric I knew what I wanted to do but wasn't sure if it would work b/c of how close the swirls were to each other. After much fussy placing and changing it eventually worked out. Hope you like it.

Mariposa's looks great, Kass! Don't know how you do those, but I love them.

Kass ~ Such a fun block! Thank you so much!

And a big "Thanks Very Much" to Janice for posting a couple blocks for me! I'm still trying to figure out how to get a small-sized pic on here~ :/

This block is for Joanelizbay. It started out as one star, and wound up a completely different one. That's what I get for looking at pictures and drafting my own version. I kinda' like how it turned out anyway. I hope you can use it Joan. I'm gonna' call it a Spinning Star.

Mariposa, thank you for the beautiful star!

I'm loving all my blocks! It's so much fun to see what different ideas people have for the same fabrics. This will be a wonderful quilt!

Libster, you have invented a new block! Joan's spinning star is cute. I was just thinking I have never seen that one when I read that you made it up.

Mariposa, you two lovely star blocks are so beautifully pieced! They look perfect.

My Iphone takes huge pictures, and i haven't found a setting on the phone to change that. So, what I do is upload the photos and then once they are on my computer I right click on "open with", and from the menu I choose "paint". When the photo opens in paint, I go to the little boxes with the dimensions... they will be showing 100 percent. I change one of the 100s to 20, and then all the boxes automatically change to 20. Then SAVE. It shrinks your picture down to 20 percent, which easily uploads to the website and looks the same as if it was 100 percent.

While I'm at it, I use paint to type the words (names) onto the quilt block photos. Just click on the big "A" and then on you photo, and a text box will open.

    Hope that helps!
