I am looking forward to starting on this BOOM. Good to see familiar names and welcome to the fun to the newbies!

My extra fabric arrived so everyone will be getting the same fabric. Here is a picture of it. My request will be to use the colors that are in the brassieres. I am sure all the creative minds will do a wonderful job and it will be the funniest quilt I have. It is going in the wash tonight and I will prepare the F8s tomorrow. It will go in the mail on Monday.

Teri, you will do great with the new machine. The rose is a pretty impressive first item.

That really pretty Terri. Do you have to change thread colors often?? Wish they would have had all these new computerized machines when I was younger. My best friend had a embrodery business and made so many different things in her shop. It was amazing to watch it work. unfortunately she hasnt been physically able to use it for a few years. Im green too!

Joan, there were 11 color changes on the rose. Each design is different. Just using a verigated thread makes for some beautiful designs. Cheesehead’s beautiful elephant she made me in the lady boom really pushed me to upgrade.

Quilt addict I can’t wait to see all the fun blocks with your fabric.

    Terriamn beautiful flower.

Quilt addict I love that fabric. It reminds me of this song from the 60s. Judy in Disguise. One of the lines is ‘ cross your heart, with a living bra’. Anyone remember those commercials with the bra dancing around. I play the song for my senior aerobics class occasionally and we always laugh about it. Your fabric makes me smile.

The fabric reminds me of the phrase "Save the Tata's" Our company has a new pink ambulance that my Monday partner works on, on a different shift, anyway he calls it the "Save the tata truck"
