I love in booms when I decide to use the same pattern for different fabrics and they come out completely.
This is for Quilt Addict Lisa I hope you don't let this one hang out too long I'm looking forward to seeing this fun quilt.
Only 2 left and I'll be mailing them all to you lovely ladies that agreed to side swap with me.

Nice blocks everyone.
I have been working on my last two today.
The first one is for Annt59. I saw a swirl block that was paper pieced w/ triangles, it was nice, but I thought the angles and extra seams distracted from the swirl. So I decided to make my own pattern w/ curved piecing. Since I'm not as comfortable drawing out curved piecing patterns from the air I decided to make a practice block, it had some issues that I thought I had effectively fixed, thought being the operative word! Anyway the block is complete and will likely never be made by me in a boom again.
Here is the practice block made in my colors / fabric, and then Ann's block

Then for my final block this boom, it is Gary's favorite that I have done this time. Gary is a big Star Wars fan, hopefully Molly's Star Wars fan will like it as much as mine does.

Great blocks Terri, TG, Libster, Billi and Kass! Love that little droid. Kass you should make Gary his own Star Wars quilt. My son in law loves his!
Tonight I'm quilting the blocks from Boom 19, QAYG style. Now putting them together with a 2" sashing. I'm making 9 block lap quilts for the hospital. With the sashing and a border they will come out about 44" square. Not bad for 9 blocks! At this rate I will be able to make 5 of these lap blankies! Good job, Boom19ers!

Kass love those swirls, know how hard those curves are. Droid is fabulous and love how you pieced the Background
We don’t have dryer sheets. Hubby is also allergic and has to be fragrance free. I used Mr Eraser and my thumb nail. Worked pretty good. Will buy several tubes of the iron cleaner to have on hand.
