Joan Liz we think this has been going on for 3.5 years but pain always went away after several hours. Never went in while expierencing one before and that’s way they diagnosed acid reflux. Blood pressure was 240 over 150 and that was their number one priority. With pain meds added in I V pressure went down enough for several tests. They said there was something in my heart tests that usually means you have had a heart attack. Then there was an enzyme present on the liver test they were upset about. Good grief all that and it wasn’t the major problem. Gull bladder was septic and full of stones. Thankfully it was discovered the gull bladder caused the heart and liver problems. But still need to see internist on blood pressure

Oh my thats really high blood pressure! Please make sure you get it checked out soon and get it taken care of. I know I have stones but so far they have never given me any problems. that had to be scary. Did you have the full blown surgery or could they do it with the laser and small incision? Hopefully you will be up and back to you healthy self really soon..dont over do..

Terri, remember high blood pressure isn't something to ignore. Get to the internist soon!

I have an appointment for blood pressure on Friday but I was at the dentist last Thursday and blood pressure was perfect. Hoping it was sky high because of the pain.

Thankfully surgery was laparoscopic, I am no longer sick and just need to take it easy till incions heal. Feeling very lucky it could have been so much worse

    Glad the surgery went well!

Excuse me for nagging; in this case I can't help myself! There are plenty of people with medical training in this group. Please join my nag-along!

I'm just a patient with high blood pressure. Many family members have/had it sometimes with surprising and devastating results. One "perfect" reading means your OK at that moment. Get yourself to the doctor! (Imagine all caps, please.)
