Yep, you are! I've been checking coloring pages for patterns already. Think I have my five. I'm gonna' do a frog, a duck, a goose, a snail and a settin' hen with chick.

Pretty blocks, Joan. I know what you mean... we are all completing the blocks in record time, this time. I did mine because there was nothing else as fun to do. And after you start they are like potato chips.

I haven't committed yet, but have been looking over farm animal blocks and found a bee and a cow i liked, and you KNOW I will have to do a chicken set (if I do the swap)

Great blocks. I love mine Joanlizbay. The blue quilt is going to be gorgeous. I’ve been telling my mom about it. Gorgeous dresdens Billi. Dhenson I love those two blocks. The gold makes the cigars pop.

The next two two blocks are from uncle sams bouquet from cherry blossoms. I didn’t include the bouquet due to the color constraints. I don’t usually do the same blocks but it seemed right for the patriotic quilts

This one is for Jayne. I got permission to use a little red. Btw I found those elf legs from last boom online too.

This one if for Dhenson. I used a little bit of your fabric in Jaynes block too. I hope these work in your quilts.

Well im far behind everyone. I’m always a little bit slower.

I worked on some blocks for the summertime swap. I practiced my piecing and did applique. I feel your pain DHenson. Some of my blocks came out to 121/4”. I kept those. I adjusted my needle to match my 1/4 “ foot and I think that helped. I think I’m done with those, so it’s full steam ahead on these blocks.

Once a week I quilt with a friend and I’ve decided I’ll work on UFOs when she comes over, otherwise it’s sewing for the boom.

Inspiration isnt hitting me this time. I have a fun idea for the butterflies. I always have trouble with the florals. Sometimes I just need to let things percolate in my brain.

Yes Terriamn I second all the nagging. I really like Kassaundras suggestion. My mother actually does this and it’s one of the reasons she has lived so long with good cognitive abilities. This is coming from your friendly neighborhood health professor. Can you tell how much you are loved by this group.

The shop hop in San Diego, this year, where they give away quilt square patterns is themed down Fun on the Farm. A chicken block swap would be good. I’ve seen some great chicken blocks

MJP, love those Uncle Sam hats and flags! So very patriotic! And so well done. Your applique is just gorgeous, always.
