LOL.. uh. well.. eheheh... yeah. There is SOME brown in it! and some yellowish stuff too. hahaha.. not my favorite colors. Seeing the other browns reminded me of this fabric and sparked a thought process in my brain. I have found some yellowish fabrics, several FQs, that I will send as companion fabric with it. See if you ladies can help me learn to love the earth/fall tones!

So I have several companion fabrics to send along.. I have some golden fabric and some green. I think I want to keep it to these colors and if necessary, either a WOW or a COC. Trying to decide if I want the green, but it matches so nicely to the fabric. I wish I had more of the golden, but I just have 3 FQs. I will keep looking though. I have some time..

If you included asking for greens that match the print it would add more green to the one you have.

I love that Folklorico fabric. I have a small collection of it myself (tho not that particular print). I know I have a gold that should go well with it.

I'm excited that Bluelady has jumped into the boat! And so has my friend Givio! Woo hoo... welcome ladies! So I think that brings the number of the 2 month group up to 15? It's possible the group may fill up too, before the deadline. MollyMunchkin, jump in!

I am looking at possible fabric for my first Boom. I’m thinking between patriotic FQ (I’ll cut down to proper size after washing) and batik yardage (I’ll post pic next). With either, I’m not sure what to ask for as a request. Maybe white with the patriotic. Or simply, red, white, blue - match as close as possible to focus fabric. Here’s the patriotic pic.

Here are the batiks. Artisan Collection, Daisy’s Garden 3. I have 2 yards of each. I’m not sure how many F8 I can cut from a yard. Or what my “request” might be. thanks for input with both options.

Kass: Does this mean I shouldn’t send stripes? They would probably be pretty hard to work with.

Kass loves stripes. I’m thinking of sending this blue striped fabric just to see whT amazing thing Kass will do with it.
