I'm loving all the pictures. Interesting fabric choices and beautiful WIP's and finished quilts.

I've been trying to decide on fabric but keep changing my mind. Couldn't be that my stash is too big, could it?

Givio, love the brown quilt. Most of my quilting is for Project Linus so I don't use much white; don't want the kids pressured to keep it clean. It sets off the rest of your quilt so nicely I may have to change my thinking.

Teriamn, there's lots of creative opportunity in your fabric, but those cigars scare me! lol

Kass: you are about to become my newest favorite teacher. Have you ever tried the Squedges from Phillips Fiber Arts? (no affiliation, I enjoy looking at their designs.)

Everyone, may you have the happiest holidays ever!

Givio, love the brown and white quilt. Another example of something I'd very much like to make. Thanks for sharing. Kass, beautiful work with the blue geometric. AnnieQuilts, I'm still deciding on my fabric, too. It's always tough for me. Not that much stash to go through but I'm fighting the urge to buy something new.

Today and yesterday was our Christmas. One of my sons returns home this afternoon so we bumped Christmas dinner to last night and gifts to this morning. Our other son leaves the day after Christmas. Tomorrow will be a day of movies and relaxation. For everyone celebrating Christmas, no matter the day, Merry Christmas!

Here is another picture with a ruler. It looks like the largest one might be around 8 inches and the smaller red and white stripe is around 2.5 inches. However, I expect them to be chopped up. No need to do any fussy cutting unless you really want to do it.

Merry Christmas to all my Boom family. I thought I would share a picture of the gazebo in the town where I will be moving. I was there for a few days last month to see the lighting ceremony. Next year I will be there permanently. Please enjoy.

Snow in November is nice! Your picture is artistic.

A peaceful day at home listening to Christmas music, eating leftovers, doing a little sewing. We have lots of new snow, so a white Christmas this year!

I never heard of squedges either, although I do have a 10 degree ruler, I think-- can you tell I haven't used it yet? lol But the free patterns were interesting to look at it. Thanks for the new ideas!

I got an email with an early clue #2 to the MMMQ for NYD. It seems like it's going to be a very simple zig zag, and I'm hoping that something unexpected will happen to make it more interesting. :-) I chose a crazy patch cheater fabric for my dark hoping that would give a look of more pieces/sewing. Here's my HSTs.

I'm at work today so hoping everyone's day is healthy and non traumatic.

Givio it might give that look when it is all assembled. I like your light fabric.

When I do some squeges blocks (which I will do) I won't buy a ruler, I have a protractor and know how to use it.

I've been looking through images to find an exciting idea for stripes, I found 3 I really like, now to narrow it down.
