Lovely blue fabric Janice. I think someone has either used that one or a very similar one in a past boom.

It was Moonrise and she had us use purple with it.....This was one of my favorite lessons in use of color. When she talked about it I just could not wrap my brain around her idea, but she sent an example of the purples she wanted and it clicked. I'm still not very confident with choosing complementary colors with my focus fabric but I keep trying.

Great choice Janice I loved this one too.

Love that picturesque gazebo! Looks like a Christmas card.

Great fabric, Janice. Will be fun to play with. I still have to find my second fabric.

Libster your quilt turned out great

Janice love your fabric, I do remember it from the previous boom and I loved it then. Will be fun to see what you request for your coordinating colors.

All three of the younger grands were here for Christmas Eve and Christmas Day and all were in different stages of a virus. Today they are even worse and their dad isn’t Feeling well either. Hubby just said he isn’t feeling well. To soon to be from the grand kids but Calvin take me away

If you ask me what day today is, I'm likely to look at you w/ a blank unknowing face, but show me a Boom fabric from 2 years ago and instant recognition. lol lol lol

Janice, I just used a 5" square of that fabric in my boom scrappy, all 5" squares and 90% were from past booms. It was fun to see the fabrics from other booms in my stash and make them into a quilt. Its at quilters now, hope to have it back in a couple weeks and will post a picture.I seem to have more "blues" in quilts Ive made than any other color..Working on 3 quilts for great grandkids ..they have outgrown their others from 2013 and there are 2 additional gkids now.. Hope everyone has a VERY HAPPY New Year!! Great quilt , I love the darker ones down the middle!!

    Janice,

Ahh I remember this fabric too. Gorgeous stuff! Boom 14. It looked great with the purple! I also have gone out and purchased some of the fabric I have seen others use in the booms. The booms are a great place to try out other fabrics, without spending a dime! Pre sampling the fabrics, so to speak..

LOL Terri... My son came with a cold. I've been pumping him full of echineacea tea but he's eating so many sugary treats that I'm afraid he's defeating the echineacea. Hard to eat right at this time of year!
