    Good for you hav4boys. I splurged and bought the Go Big when I was having trouble holding a ruler tight enough. The arm is OK now, but I still love the cutter!

    I also splurged later and ordered the 6" and 9" cubes.

    Kass - Blow your horn any time you so wish - I love brassy !!
    Explaining how easy or hard a certain block is to a non-quilter, is like trying to explain love {of fabric.}

    This response is bigger then my Abby Road block.

    I loved your Abby Road Block!!! In fact I saved the picture of it to one of my folders, my DD would be over the moon if I made her a Beatles quilt with that block in it.

    Right now I am sitting in a hotel room in Paducah Kentucky for the night. Can't wait to get to our home in Alabama tomorrow, the first thing I plan to do is to get my fabric prepped for the boom swap.

    Terri, so sorry everyone in your house is so sick.

    Oh I agree Joan, I have made much more complicated blocks, but that one is my all time favorite.

    I redrew the twisted ribbon block into a 6 inch pattern and made one w/ some of the extra floral fabric for this boom, even though my stripe match at the Y seams isn't as perfect as the red/green one from earlier, I like how it turned out.

    I just read on my phone that it's 12 degrees right now in Paducah! Hope you are snug and warm. Be sure you stop at Hancocks for a few hours tomorrow, before you continue south. I wish I could!

    We can't, we have two cats with us. Going to hit the road in about 15 minutes with a 9 hour ride ahead of us. One of these years though I hope to get to Hancocks.

    Well once again you’ve amazed me Kass. Like I’ve said before I want to come apprentice with you and watch you use the protractor and compass. As I told sewbiz girl, my husband and I are going to take the camping van he designed. , go around the country and visit you all. We’ll park in your driveway, I’ll get quilting lessons and he’ll be your handyman for the day.
