I just love the Carolina Lily block. I've seen quilts that feature this block, but I have yet to see a pattern for it. Thanks for sharing your links.
Here are some more:

Maude, I just ran a quick search for a 12 1/2 inch unfinished Carolina Lily pattern and couldn't find it either. I suppose it's the on point nature of the block that makes that size a bit difficult to achieve with standard (easy) pieces. Consider drawing it out and seeing what you can come up with. Paper piecing maybe? You can always make block a couple of inches smaller and use a nice even border on all sides to bring it up to 12 1/2 inches unfinished. (

I was looking at all the block patterns I have at home and was wondering if people have that one special block they can call a "favorite"?? I know there are a LOT of patterns that are paper pieced that I would never try..the quilt I just finished does show how different people see the same kind of fabric. That's what makes the booms special!! YOU ALL made the quilt..I was just fortunate enough to put it together!

Janice,
I worded my post poorly which is typical of me. One of the links that sewbizgirl posted has the Carolina Lily pattern:
https://www.generations-quilt-patter...t-pattern.html
There are templates for 2 sizes, 12" or 13" finished. I don't think I will dare attempt this with anyone's fabric, but I may try it with mine

Well ladies you know I was going to the fabric store to look for complimentary fabric for my boom floral. I did find two that needed to come home with me, I know you guys find that shocking! Both fabrics are repeat geometrics (another shocking fact, I'm sure). Anyway couldn't wait to get my trusty mirrors out and take a look, both have really nice possibilities, but one was really calling to me, here are the two fabrics, the one really is blue, even though it looks blackish.

So I just had to make a dressie out of that zig zag. I don't have it sewn to a background yet but here it is

When I finished cutting out the 24 wedges I had these biased edged almost 2 inches by 6 inches strips of "waste", that any sane normal person would have tossed. But they were repeats, so I lined them up and cut 60 degree triangles and am making these, they aren't all finished yet.

These aren't sewn together yet, they are constructed as half hexies.

I think we have finally settled in the new house. At least I haven't gone back and changed a bunch of stuff around yet. Had time to get my fabric's washed, cut and ready to mail, so I thought I'd show you all what you'll be sewing with. This Christmas fabric is for the 2 month group and I have asked that you use off white and or gold that is in the fabric. No other prints please, except something like this holiday white print. I made a block to kind of show what I have in mind if that helps any.
This is the fabric for the 3 month group. Cream or the mint color in the fabric would be great. No other prints with this busy fabric please, solids or tone on tones would be appreciated.
