Hope everyone had a blessed Christmas. Mine definitely was. Going to be a grammy again in August. The kids will be 18 months apart. I am so excited. Here is my 10 month old grand son Hyde.

    Lovely fabric Janice!

I don't usually think of many of my quilts being blue, but when I actually need to buy fabric it's always blue -- 'cause I use it up so fast!

At first the gazebo picture looked like it came from Hallmark!

Guess I should mention my keyboard is misbehaving. If you notice really weird words, try adding vowels or spaces. I go back and try to do it myself, not always successfully. I probably should take it somewhere for a good cleaning, but I've met too many self proclaimed gurus who really aren't. My "personal" IT staff all live hundreds of miles away and don't have much patience. Anyone have a DIY solution?

At one time my employer designated me as a computer expert; then they did away with mainframes and punch cards. lol

What a beautiful baby Hyde is! Oh my... those eyes. So adorable. Congrats on the second one, on the way, too.

Hyde is one kissable baby. I'm living vicariously through all you grandmas out there.

We had a small Christmas celebration yesterday with our youngest. Hiking, eating the meal my youngest son made and watching the sunset. On Saturday my other two kids fly in with assorted significant others and their kids. I'm trying to get everything ready for the boom now. So Janice let me know when I can send.

I've had to supplement my blue striped seashell fabric (labeled Kassaundra in the Janice pictures) with some chili pepper fabric. I'll use the chili pepper squares for a table runner. The blue and white is going to go to my 95 year old mother. When I asked her about it, she reminded me I'm not buying green bananas anymore, are you sure you want to make it for me?

    What a cutie pie!

It has been a cold dreary day here, so I thought I'd try one of the ideas for striped fabric. Thought I'd start w/ the easiest one to draft. It didn't do exactly what I envisioned, I think the horizontal stripe was not dark enough and the stripes didn't land in the right place. I think I know how to fix that if I make another one w/ stripes. As I was making it I thought hummm I wonder how those hexies would look in it, so decided to make the center row w/ the hexies
