    Great ideas for leftovers!

Terri, your daughter's picture makes me cooooooollllddd. Imagine snow on your eyelashes! She's hardy to jog in that kind of cold. Cute instagram, tho. Glad your family is on the mend, too.

I think I've settled on a fabric to send for the second group. Have to see how much of it I actually have. Looks like we may be sending 14 bags for the 2 month group... Will check and then post a picture of it later today, I hope.

Kelly was very offended at the jogger remark, she is a runner not a jogger. The snow on her eyelashes was frozen. One of her friends keeps telling her one of these days she is going to wake up to no eyelashes.

MJP, hubby and two oldest grandkids all had had their flu shots. The bummer is we still have a long flu season to get through.

Terri, I saw that picture on TV all the way to Oklahoma. I thought man that crazy woman needs to go inside and drink some hot cocoa!

Terri how neat is is that your DD made the national news, that's a great picture!

Wednesday when we left Wisconsin the temp was -7*, we couldn't get out of there fast enough! It's below the average temp here in Alabama, it's only 50* but the sun feels real warm. Our neighbors are dressed like Nanook of the North! We thought it was great out, DH cut the grass and I washed a couple of windows. One neighbor came out to tell us we were nuts, hey this is the weather we have in May back in Wisconsin we told them. This is car washing weather back home, everybody would be out washing all the road salt off of their vehicles.

Cheesehead, I am in agreement w/ your southern neighbors. I think anything near or under 50 is to cold for human habitation. I believe every winter I will not survive it until spring.

Terri: great picture. So glad you are all feeling better. Several in our family group were down with a terrible cold/cough. DD made a trip to Urgent Care on the 26th. Runners are diligent and very commited to workouts. So cool that their picture made the news. It sure looks cold!!! Happy New Year.

Sewbiz, maybe some of us can double up again to get more blocks. And, hey, we could still get more sign-ups. There's still a couple of days left yet. Any fence sitters need to decide soon though!
Kass, you and stripes are just beyond my imagination. Beautiful blocks, as always! Again, I bow to the master of stripes.
Terri, your DD is one hardy soul!

Hope to get downstairs and cut and label my fabrics tomorrow.

Drove dd to airport, ran into grocery store to buy some frozen soup. Next time I freeze soup going to make a few single serving ones. Mouth was just about drooling thinking of Sewbiz’s turkey soup simmering on the stove.

Freezing drizzle just started in Mid Mo...Id rather have inches of snow than ice. Hopefully it wont get any worse, at least its a weekend! Be safe everyone and have a Very Happy New Year!!

Boy do I agree with you Joan, think the worse is ice.

Today was our warm day of 1 degree, we get cold snaps that last a few days but this one is supposed to last 2 weeks. Brrrr
