That’s it. I’m setting up a dormitory for all of you. We have our usual 70 and sunny weather. Of course you’ll have to contend with the occcasional earthquake or fire.

Ok, we're coming down to the wire on sign-ups for Boom 20. Fence sitters, time to speak up! Sign-ups close 11:59pm EST 12/31. Come Join us! A few spaces in the 2 month group are available.

Anyone who has signed up and had reconsidered, please let me know asap. Withdrawals are perfectly ok until signups close. Once groups are set, withdrawals are more problematic. Thanks!

And it was, too! We just got done eating it. I had so much leftover turkey I made a big pot, plus a big turkey salad. We had a green salad with a scoop of turkey salad on it, and a big bowl of soup. I'm stuffed.

I made the soup with onion, celery, carrots and asparagus... yum!

This will be my fabric for the 3 month group, probably. I haven't washed it yet, but I think there will be enough once it's preshrunk. Parakeets!

Isn't that beautiful! I have two pink ones, similar to yours but much smaller. They're young but even a few blooms brighten my day.

Beautiful! We have camellias here in NC, but the cold has all the poor buds bitten and brown. I grew up in SC and we had a white and a red one. I love them.

I have 2 camellia bushes out front. Beautiful plants. I look forward to their blooming in the winter when most other flowering plants are not.

Sewbiz: Love your bird fabric. Can’t wait to get all these little F8 in my hands.

Beautiful cheesehead, indon’t Know if I have ever seen one before. Will it survive this cold spell that is traveling across the country.

Actual temp is minus 14 this morning. Had a couple of appointments to look at new sewing machines when I got sick and changed the appts. to today. Going to change them to Tuesday, don’t want to get anyone else sick.
