Boom 21 - Dunes

Kass, love the martini block. It is truly a pleasure watching your creations - someday!
Biblio - beautiful blocks, really love my sunny days block. Lots of little HST!
Although I don't officially start work til Thursday, I spend all day yesterday and will go back today to organize my new classroom. I was whining a bit about where did summer go, then my husband reminded me I spent 5 weeks of it on vacation! It will be nice to get back to a routine.

Good morning, Dunes.
Beautiful block for Cheesehead, GramE. All those colors make it extra special. Wow. Terrific pic of your grandsons and DIL. Glad your heart is lighter! TG. a silver lining if ever there was one
Jaba, I'm hoping that tumor will be history very soon. All fingers and toes are crossed for a fabulous outcome.
Kassaundra, D.Henson's block is amazing. Yay, Bibliostone, you finished in a big way! Congrats. The green with Mona's b/w print is stunning. Love that fussy cut center. It really makes the block.
Jayne, what a wonderful summer.

Ladies, you are making some beautiful blocks! I think this Boom you all are knocking them out of the park!! Just a little update: tumor is still hanging around a bit...doctor says 95% gone, 5% more to go. Radiation for 5 more days and 1 more shot of chemo, maybe next Tuesday I'll be done. That's okay it's shrinking and I certainly want it gone so 1 more week isn't going to kill me
Finished up my blocks.
For QuilterMomma, Merry-go-round:
For JayneW, Sunny Days:
For GramE, Garden Path:
For Stafar, Spinning spools:
and for MonaG, Peaceful home. It was not until I finished it that I realized it was the same block a made for you a few booms back. It is a different B/W fabric, a different WOW, and a different pop of color so I hope it will still work in your quilt. The green is lighter and brighter than shows in the picture.

Kass love the martini block.
Biblistone all your blocks are so pretty. Great choices.
GramE, thrilled your heart ache is receding. Wonderful picture.
Sewbiz 3 of my 4 wore cloth diapers, pretty much all that was available then. Was thrilled when my youngest developed a rash from detergents. No gentle and free in those days. We had to use disposables. My youngest dd used cloth diapers for all three of her kids and had such cute coverups for them.

Well, my heart is resting easy, now that i’ve Seen my AirForce grandsons. They graciously allowed Jordan time off to attend his brother’s graduation. So I got a pic to salve my anxious heart. This pic has a big grin to cancel out the one he sent before he left. 24 more days and they get to go back to San Antonio for the second graduation.
Kass: I love my block!!! It is absolutely amazing. Thank you very much for such a wonderful block. The colors are striking. The block pattern is perfect!! Thanks again.
I finished D.Henson's block wasn't sure I would finish today.

So love those puppies Pamela, makes me want one.
Wow, great blocks everyone. Will get on mine real soon. Looking forward to the three day weekend coming up to get lots of blocks made and quilting done.
Surgery is scheduled for September 13 unless someone cancels for the 30th. Will be one difficult surgery, but I am a trooper.
