Two more wonderful star blocks, GrameE. I'm always amazed at your handwork.

Kinda bittersweet, my last block. Now I have 3 quilts to bind.
Thanks to all who made me a block for my friend. I am grateful for your contribution. And your friendship.
I'm sure we've all had weird blocks. I know I have. Good save on the pinwheel. Nice job!

I am finished with Boom 21 blocks. I made another block for Klaws!! Thank you for the extra fabric. After 2 failed attempts, I went with a simple pinwheel. I’ll send them both.... maybe you can make a hot pad with the weird one. This has been a great boom!! All the blocks are amazing. I just love, love all of mine. I’m looking forward to making a very nice quilt.
Kass, it's beautiful even if you feel you didn't quite get the effect you were going for. It's subtle and lovely.

Darcyshannon, wow, you've also been very busy! Great blocks for Stafar, DHenson and GramE. Love the softness of the blue with GramE's in particular. Funny, the ship blocks look rectangular, not square. Is that an illusion? Are my eyes playing tricks on me?

I'm pleased you enjoyed yourself in your first Boom.

This Florida colored one is for Stafar.

This one with soft blue is for GramE.
This spinning Santas block is for Klaws.

This Christmas Ship is for Jayne.

This spice ship in the night is for Kassaundra.

This has been a wonderful experience. It was daunting to join for the first time but I am glad I did and have learned a lot. I look forward to checking in as everyone finishes up. Also, I can't wait to see the quilts that come from this exchange.
The dalias came out perfectly.

I finished Mona's block tonight that leaves me w/ just one to go. At first I was going to make a black and white background for the red dahlias, but in the end I loved the dahlias so much I wanted to showcase them w/o the added distraction
Oops, got to run. Yoga class in 45. I'll add these to the gallery this afternoon.

Kass - there are times when I have to go back to fabric sent to remind me what the fabric was before you recreated it! The red is one of the those!! Love it
My cutting table is full of projects so won't be double checking my blocks and sending them back this week. I am finishing up projects and of course starting new ones.!!

Sometimes a fabric calls for simplicity. And if all the blocks were intricate the quilt would be too busy. So I love the fact that we are all creative in our own way, and there hasn't been a block I could not use.

Great job DarcyShannon on all your blocks and for completing your first Boom blocks. I love my Tipsy Monkey Wrench! It is just perfect!

Kass, the dalias really stand out against the black fabric. Love them!

Heading to the post office this morning.

Kass, the optical illusions on this block are numerous. Lovely. Two of them look like diamonds.

Surgery is scheduled for September 13. Lots to get done in this short of time. it will though, it will.

I am so very glad that the blocks are kept in a photo gallery. I have been peaking in on them to do my best not to make a same block as everyone else. Variety is always good right.

Kass love your Dahlias.

My oldest dd is on vacation this week and I drive in from the lake to spend some tome with her. Today we went to the Russian Museum of Art. It is located in a beautiful old church that enhances the art. Took 3 pictures with 2 close ups to share with you. Have to switch to my I pad, can’t send pics from my phone
