Libster, you are just the best grandmother! Your Punkadoodle is adorable!
Terri, so happy for you that your whole family will be together for Christmas! What a great blessing that is.
I’m really enjoying hearing everyone’s plans... Lots of happy news.

Terri, so glad you will have your son home after all!! I pulled a good one off on my two 14 year old grandsons. They had been using bunk bed, seperated for the past 3-4 years and had out grown them..My son DIL and I went "shopping" a couple weeks ago and picked out bed, box springs, mattress for them and today the kids got out of school at 1 pm. I picked them up, took the "kids" to get icecream while mom and dad were home furiously putting beds together. They were both open mouthed shocked when they went to their rooms!! Seldom you can get a surprise over on kids but did this year!! Ill hate when the "kids" are gone..just hope for more great grand kids! Merry Christmas all!!!

Great surprise for your grandkids, Joan! New beds are the perfect gifts for guys that age. Pretty sneaky of y'all, keeping it a secret!
Kass, maybe so... I have had mine cut and bagged for months. When we start I won't have much to do.

Kass, I don’t have mine picked out at all. I wanted to have my 21 blocks put together first but then before I knew it Christmas is here and I’m on a sewing break from my regularly scheduled programming. . My son has some ideas he’d like me to help him with and the kids want to make stockings this year.
Joan, what a fun Santa cause! I bet they were surprised and delighted. Good times.

GramE, thanks for the spritz hints. I might just dig out the old press and give it the old Boomer try. (I think it was basically impatience on my part that did them in.)
Klaws, I'm glad the lab report was so positive overall. Here's to hoping the next one will confirm all are benign.
Libster, OMGosh, your little Punkadoodle is having so much fun! And the pink tree is adorable.
Terriamn, so happy your son is able to join you after all.
JayneW, I agree. Those cookie pix and descriptions are very fattening...
Darcyshannon, do you go to the ballet frequently? What are you going to see?
Joanelizbay, how did the surprise work out?
Kassaundra, definitely not. LOL
I'm off to meet a friend for coffee. Have a wonderful day everyone.

I swear I am not buying any more fabric after going through all mine.
Having fun with my embroidery machine. Dish towels for each of my dd’s

Also tried a new new banana bread recipie with buttermilk and a stick of butter instead of shortening. Talk about moist.

Those are cute, Terriamn. You seem to use your embroidery machine frequently. . I’m not sure everyone appreciates buttermilk the way many southerns do. I certainly didn’t until I moved here. It’s great for baking. Bet the BB is delicious. Enjoy.

Janice I love watching the embroidery machine create art.
today I plan on making a red and black checked pillow cover with a simple white Christmas tree with a gold star and it’s going to be for me.
