More squirrels tamed...now if somebody could do something with the three sibling squirrels wreaking havoc on my back deck, I'd appreciate it. Fine block, Cheese!

Cheesehead, your squirrels block is cute as a button. I have similar fabrics to use but you have set the bar high!

Pamela, we all make blocks within our various skill sets. The most important thing is that your block is well constructed and the right size. You will find that your skill set improves with every Boom you do. I’m sure we will love whatever you make for us!

Thank you Janice for removing the picture of my goofed up block and replacing it with the improved version.

SBG when we first got our packages and I was going though all of the fabrics, I was quite intimidated by the squirrels! Than today was a "I wonder if..." moment and then it all came together. I don't doubt for one moment that you will come up with a darling block for the squirrels.

This will probably be my last block for the day, this block is for QuilterMomma. Yikes, the picture colors are not true. I was playing with the brightness and contrast trying to tone it down some but apparently it didn't work!

Okay I went and took another picture, if this one doesn't turn out, I give up. I don't know what I do wrong but I always take crappy pictures!

Great block for QM Cheesehead. I love your pattern and fabric choices.

God is great! Our Quilts for Kids group runs solely on donations. A few times a year, we seem to get wonderful donations. It's usually people cleaning out their stash or a business giving non profits gifts or grants. Today I was contacted by a LA gal that is moving to Texas. I met her last week when I went by her house to buy some fabric ($6. yd which was very cool). I left my card and said if she wanted to donate any fabric before she moved, our group would love the donation. She contacted me today and donated a Lg. box (about 50 pounds) of great colorful fabric. She hand picked fabric she thought we would like and she was spot on!! Great kid / animal prints, borders, blenders, backing, all absolutely great! I've spent the morning sorting, drooling, and pulling fabrics together to make kits for our group. We are totally blessed!! <3

Now, I need to get busy on my boom blocks.
