Ibex, those are fantastic!
My blocks are in the mail... walked into the post office this morning and I was the only one there. Addressed the package to Janice and there were 8 people in line!
My heart to all of you in the weather. It is an absolutely breathtaking day here in Wyoming, High 80's no wind. Unheard of. I have a date with my flowerbeds to plant some mums and begin winter clean up. Since its a date, I might have to take a nice adult beverage out with me! There is a bit of smoke in the air from so Colorado fires, wish the rain from Florence could just be shared equally across the country.
Enjoy your Saturday!

It is 91 here at the lake with 70% humidity. I heard of for September and not very welcome. It’s docks out weekend and some of the gals had ice packs in their T-shirt’s. Had to take a break and sit in the air conditioning.

awwww. Thank you everyone for the support at this ninth hour. Life has been crazy for all of us and I'm a procrastinater by nature so I'm drinking a lot of coffee right now to get the blocks done by tomorrow night. So many blocks in froggie state but they will be worth it when I get them where I like them...
Yes. I am using the 12" Hunter's Star cutter. I haven't looked at any of the non-12" block options.... yet, lol.
I'm so glad ya'll like my fabric counter choices to your key fabrics. I am still getting used to how big to make the seams.
Janice, this new toy is going to help me make it to the finish line now that I am comfortable with those seams. A couple more Hunter's Stars are being made today. Hate to be so redundant on the pattern but I really like the way those blocks are looking!

Here are some more. I like Disappearing Four Blocks when the fabric is gorgeous and I don't really want to chop it up into too many pieces. Have4Boys I had to add a border to yours because I miscalculated the initial square size so yours is a variation of of a disappearing four block. Libster and Terriamn get one, too. Annt59 gets a Christmas Star. The first one I made was 13" so it had to be deconstructed and trimmed down to make 12.5". Coullmills, you get a bright and cheery Hunter's Star.
