Hav4boys that quilt is adorable.
I need a new sewing chair, my current chair is a basic office chair without armrests and it won't stay in the highest position anymore so every time I sit down to sew I slowly get shorter and shorter, maybe my chair is telling me it is time to lose some more weight.

Mona, I have a "saddle stool" that I got at the quilt show where I bought my sit down longarm. I just love it and am thinking of getting another one for my regular sewing machine too. It's so comfortable, like sitting in a softly cushioned saddle. No back, but you don't need one because it sits you very upright. You can see it in the foreground of this picture I took of my longarm setup. Lots of machine dealers sell these, or you can find them online... just search "saddle stool". They adjust up and down too, and have rollers.

I have the same problem with my chair at work. somedays it goes way down, other days it doesn't move..I think they make them that way so you feel you have to buy a new one! My 32 year old granddaughters best school friend from high school died while officiating a basketball game..he had a brain embolusim?? was really hard on her because they talked almost every day on facebook..Hard on younger ones to lose at that age..He was so well respected and liked in town that they raised $10,000 on go fund me in only 36 hours for his family...that shows the respect he had!! Hard time of year to lose anyone.
Finally went to dr yesterday. Have had dirreha for almost 3 weeks so figured it was time to get medicine. Sure hope it helps because I haven't touched my sewing machine in days..
talking about cookies and candy, my DIL always wants me to make oreo balls for her to take to work. OF COURSE my grandson had to make his own batch...1 pack oreos, 1 brick of crème cheese, grind up the oreos mix with cheese, roll in balls, let chill then dip in white chocolate. Mine didn't come out too bad but Logans kind of fizzled into crumbs, esp after he dropped them a couple of times but still had to brag on him about being so tasty. He choose the mint oreo cookies and they were pretty good...easy to make too! That and chex mix is ALL I make...too easy to eat what you make! LOL Merry Christmas everyone...

I melt Almond Bark or white choc chips then drop the oreo balls one at a time and use a fork to slide under them and shake off the extra chocolate and put on a piece of wax paper. Its time consuming but they are tasty!!
Medicine seems to be helping not in the bathroom as much!

Joanelizbay, hope you continue to feel better. The holidays are a rough time to not feel 100 percent. I got flattened for 48 hours from my shingles booster on Monday. (It was worse the first round.) Luckily, 48 hours is a piece of cake compared to shingles so I'm not complaining but I lost valuable holiday prep time. Well, so be it. Love the oreo balls idea. Might try them. Also, I completely forgot about the chex mix. Hubby loves it. Better stop at the store to pick up some fixings! Enjoy your day.
