Two more beauties, Moonrise!

Hav4, look how perfectly your points match in the center of that strawberry block! I usually avoid patterns like that because I can't get the centers as nice as you did. Really like the block.

Thank you SBG. I took your feedback to heart and have been working on squaring each part of my block. I paper pieced the middle so it would line up.

I don't know how H4B does it, but when I am doing an 8 point meet I first do the halves (4 and 4) then when I join the halves I start in the middle and sew to the edge, then turn it over and start in the middle and sew to the other edge.

Here is a block for Quiltermomma. The gray looks black but it is not.

Very pretty blocks, hav!

I seem to be on a "Dresden Roll". I guess it's obvious what one of my favorite blocks is! They're kind of fiddly, but I enjoy making them. Here's one for Coullmills. Love the yummy fabric! The background is solid white.

The size is supposed to be 168k. We'll see what happens when I hit the "post" button!

Edit: Well, it says it's 200.7k. Getting closer! LOL!

Here's Joanelizbay's block. Not a Dresden this time! I may have time to do one more block this evening. We'll see what happens.

Yes!!! The picture came through under 200kb this time.

More awesome blocks, ladies!

Kass, I piece the 8 point meets the same as you, except I don't start in the middle and sew out. Gonna try that next time. Seems like it would give you a lot more control.

Hav4, the paper piecing really worked! I like the red and black block too. I'm hoping I get some of that red 'kitchen-y' fabric to play with.
