I just finished this block for MonaG. This fabric was so beautiful I had a hard time cutting into it and still keep the design as the main focus. The center block cut on point measured 8 3/4, I used every possible scrap to get the border on this block but just made it...whew!

Great blocks, Cheesehead!
That quilt is amazing, SewBiz! <3 My patience would've gone right out the window.
Hot off the $ewing machine is this Hourglass 4 block for Hav4Boys. (And when I say "hot", I mean it literally. The heat index is almost 100 degrees here, and the humidity is so high that it feels like a sauna! )

I thought she was referring to a block that someone else made, and that I must've overlooked in the thread.
Funny thing is, I didn't purposely cut them that way, but I noticed it when I was putting the block together. It's neat how things work out sometimes!
Here's Hav4Boys' second block. As soon as I saw the turtles, I remembered receiving a piece of "turtle/water"-looking fabric in a scrap bag from MSQC a few weeks ago. It almost looks like they're part of the same fabric line! Hope you like it.

I'm sorry... you're right!!
Can't believe you didn't plan and fussy cut the blocks that way, Moon! It was a beautiful accident, then.
Love your blocks for Hav4boys... such great blocks to show off the fabric.
